Hospitality is an active discipline. To ensure our "Culture of Welcome" is consistent, the Hi Team follows a dedicated schedule of training and preparation.

Saturday: Culture & Logistics

While the Worship Team prepares the sound, the Hi Team prepares the space and the heart.

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM | The Hospitality Lab: Training & Onboarding

A two-hour session for new volunteers and seasoned leads focusing on. The following are done:

1. The "First 7 Minutes": Understanding the psychology of a new guest and how to navigate the critical first moments of their arrival.
2. Conflict Resolution & Grace: Training on how to handle difficult situations or high-traffic stress with peace and professionalism.
3. Radical Awareness: Developing the "eye for the one"—learning to spot the person standing alone or the family looking for direction.

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Facility Walkthrough & Setup

A final sweep of all guest touchpoints (Lobby, Kids Check-in, Sanctuary, and Parking Lot) to ensure the environment is pristine and welcoming.
